Red Fort

Symbol of Power and Legacy

The Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Delhi, is an enduring symbol of India’s rich history and sovereignty. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century, it served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors for over 200 years.

Each Independence Day, the Prime Minister hoists the national flag from its ramparts, making it a symbol of national pride and freedom.
